Entry Requirements

To enrol in the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Public Administration, learners must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold an honours degree in a related subject, a UK level 6 diploma, or an equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Mature learners should have management experience (subject to confirmation by the delivery centre).
  • Learners must be 21 years or older at the start of the course.
  • While a degree in any field is acceptable, preference may be given to those with knowledge in relevant areas like Management, Business Studies, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or social sciences.

Additionally, alternative professional qualifications and at least three years of pertinent work experience in public service roles will be considered. This includes positions in local or national government, NGOs, inter-governmental organizations, voluntary sectors, and private sector roles supporting or delivering public services.

For learners whose first language is not English, proof of English language proficiency is required.
