Entry Requirements

  • Applicants should have a minimum Level 4 qualification in their area of expertise, preferably at a level higher than their learners.
  • Access 100 teaching practice hours with full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing specific areas of provision.
  • Learners must be 19 or older to enrol.


  • Upon completing this qualification, learners can advance to the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
